SOUTH CITY JAZZ HOSTED BY WEST BYRD

IMG_3051.JPG

TROMBONIST JEFF BRADSHAW

Nominated for a 2021 NAACP IMAGE AWARD FOR BEST JAZZ ALBUM (vocal), Jeff Bradshaw’s sound is positioned somewhere between jazz-fusion and neo-soul. Incorporating jazz, soul, and the occasional African rhythm, Bradshaw evokes George Benson, George Duke, and Earth Wind & Fire at their most prolific. True to the jazz-fusion genre, Bradshaw lays down a groove that is at once musically esoteric and lyrically accessible.

Born in North Philadelphia, Jeff Bradshaw is known as a soul-jazz and hip-hop/funk innovator, so it was only right that this trombone virtuoso found a home at Hidden Beach Recordings. Coming up in and out of the Philadelphia Soul Movement, he performed with some of the music industry’s greats such as Michael Jackson, Earth Wind & Fire, Pattie LaBelle, and more.
